At Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital, our veterinarian has steady hands and many years of experience performing routine surgeries for your pets. With their skill and compassion backed by our knowledgeable staff, we can confirm that your pet will receive the highest quality care before, during, and after surgery. We provide spaying and neutering, as well as a variety of soft tissue surgeries such as mass removals, foreign body removals, minor orthopedic surgeries, and more.

Our veterinary team takes the greatest care and precautions to ensure your pet’s safety. Prior to surgery, we perform a physical exam and suggest pre-surgery blood work to screen for conditions or abnormalities that may be problematic. We provide appropriate pain medication to make sure your pet is comfortable during recovery and the post-surgery phase.

Occasionally, we may refer patients to specialists, or board-certified veterinary surgeons, when complex operations with advanced equipment or training is required. Your pet’s health is our top priority, and we want to make sure that all of our patients receive the best possible outcome.
